I've been neglecting DA a bit haven't I, I should tell you what I've been doing.

Well I just updated my website www.artbyingridglaw.com I added a bunch of videos to my video section. Alot of them are of me drawing the art I recently put up.

I am unemployed. I had some difficulties with www.artlandstudio.ca They had to close down their old location and I wont be helping them at their new one until they settle matters with me (I am owed a lot of $$$ ). I'm going to go visit them at the new location though, there's a new owner I'd like to meet her see if anything can be worked out.

There's a germany cafe/deli/bakery that's hiring just 2 minutes walk down the street, I'm going to see if I can get a job there and/or a job in child care.

There's an anime convention coming up in winnipeg www.ai-kon.com I couldn't get an art table they were sold out in 30 minutes but I'm going to host a drawing contest there, and not being in the artist means I'll have time to check out panels, meet voice actors (I think for each attending va I'll draw my favourite character they voiced as gifts for them. I actually do like dubs), go shopping. *shilin will be in the artist alley, I may give her accommodations if she can't find a place to stay.  

I am enjoying living in winnipeg. It's quite affordable and there are many free events and festivals going on here. Here I'll show you (I like to take videos)

[link] Fred Penner is from Winnipeg (do you remember his show from the early 90s) he does a lot of kids shows here. I went to the Teddy Bear picnic a couple weeks ago and he was there (picnic was to raise money for childrens hospital foundation) Next weekend he'll be at the Kids Fest at the Forks. I'll go check it out and bring my HD camera (I was using a crappy camera the day of the picnic, the hd camera is much better). There'll also be a flying trepeze at the kid fest.

[link] The week before the Teddy Bear Picnic there was a Asian Festival at the Forks. There was some really cool performances on the stage, my favourite was the dragons. They also gave me some free origami and calligraphy of my name.
